Volunteers are vital to Full Circle Farm!

We rely on them every day–without them we wouldn’t  have a farm. There are many different ways you can get involved in Full Circle Farm. We need volunteers for all aspects of the farm, including the garden, fields, events, farmstand, and construction.

On The Production Farm

Sundays from 9 AM- 2 PM for Drop-In Volunteering (16+ years or older only)

Come by anytime on Sunday and help-out with farm production.  email rose@fullcirclesunnyvale.org for details or simply stop by the farm!

Work alongside the farm crew in our crop production fields. After a brief orientation and training,  you can help with weeding, planting, cultivation, harvest, and more (see requirements below). Get a workout, learn new skills, gain work experience and meet new people!

Requirements:

• Age 16+
• Able to handle the rigors of farm work
• Orientation and training with the farm crew
• Sturdy closed-toe shoes
• Bring adequate sun protection and water for yourself

In The Education Garden

Wednesdays & Saturdays 10 AM- dark for Drop-In Volunteering (all ages)

Help grow our biointensive educational garden located at the west end of the farm. Come through the gate to the garden shed and join garden volunteers of all ages to dig, plant, water, weed, and enjoy the amazing vista of our farm and the hills. As an added bonus, you get to take home some garden produce! Stay for any length of time. Parents are required to accompany their children.

GARDEN ASSISTANT NEEDED

Apply for the position of Volunteer Garden Assistant! Help us keep the garden growing. Perfect for someone who would like to get more involved at Full Circle Farm. Help lead volunteers on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Email us if you’re interested!

Groups

Groups of 10 or more people are welcome to schedule volunteer events. We need at least two weeks notice to accommodate your group. To schedule,  please email info@fullcirclesunnyvale.org.

At The Farmstand

Full Circle Farm’s farm stand is a major point of contact with the community, as well as a big source of income for the farm. We need volunteers to staff the farm stand who can commit to at least 2 shifts per month. You will be responsible for answering customer questions, weighing produce, and adding up prices.

Our farmstand is open on Wednesday and Friday afternoons and Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm.  Volunteer shifts are just over two hours.  Ages 16 + only. Email rose@fullcirclesunnyvale.org if you’re interested!

Outreach & Events

Are you a people person? Then this is the job for you! Help us spread the word about the farm by talking to people and answering questions at off-site outreach events.

The farm will organize several events each year, such as Earth Day in April, a Harvest Festival in the Fall, movie nights, and more. We need dedicated individuals to help plan these events, as well as helping out with setup, logistics and activities on the day-of the event. All of our events are 100% volunteer-planned and hosted, and we need LOTS of help!

Educational Programs

We need volunteers to help out with the educational mission of the farm. Can you teach something? Want to help out during classes or workshops? If so, then this is the job for you! Email Ashlie@fullcirclesunnyvale.org

Chicken Care

The chickens have arrived at the farm! Chickens are friendly and cute, and they need to be taken care of every day. Can you help? Duties will include feeding, watering, cleaning, and collecting eggs (eventually). We are looking for volunteers that can commit to at least one day per week of chicken care. Construction/Labor

Web and Graphic Design
