Full Circle Farm is a project of Sustainable Community Gardens (SCG), a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to the renewal of local, sustainable food systems.
Full Circle Farm operates using the organic principles set forth in the National Organic Program while we work to pursue organic certification. We are committed to sustainable principles of operation. As such the use of petroleum based fertilizers, as well as non-organic herbicides and pesticides is not part of our operating philosophy.
Sustainable Community Gardens

Sustainable Community Gardens (SCG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the renewal of local, sustainable food systems throughout Silicon Valley. SCG provides affordable access to locally produced food, as well as education in environmental living, sustainable agriculture, nutrition and gardening. We seek diverse means to engage our community at all ages and stages, encouraging and assisting individuals from all walks of life in their active support of a sustainable future.
As the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that founded the Charles Street Gardens in partnership with the City of Sunnyvale, SCG is delighted to have developed Full Circle Farm as its newest project. Charles Street Gardens’ sold-out beds and events can attest, SCG is poised to become one of the valley’s leaders in promoting sustainable food systems. In partnership with Santa Clara Unified, SCG is well on its way to giving 14,000 kids the chance to experience the empowerment of planting, caring for, harvesting, and eating one’s own food.
