What is CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a locally based food distribution system that creates a direct link between farmers and consumers. Individuals or families pre-purchase a “share” of the farm’s harvest and receive in exchange a weekly basket of fresh picked produce as it becomes available throughout the growing season. Basket contents vary from week to week, season to season, and include the very best of what we can grow at any given time of the year.

CSA is unique because members actually share in part of the farmers’ risk. That is, they pay in advance for a portion of the farm’s total crop. Crops that do well will be abundant in the share, crops that do less well will be less abundant. For their part, the farms have a stable income that doesn’t depend on sunny weather on farmer’s market days.

How does it work?

The Full Circle Farm CSA runs year-round. You can purchase a share for the quarter (12 weeks) for $300. You pick up your CSA basket week at the farm. Please bring your own reusable bags to transport your veggies to your home. Farmer Meghan, will set up the baskets in the farmstand. There will be signs indicating how much you can take of what. If there is something that you know you will not use, you can add it to the exchange bin. Before you leave, please write your initials by your name on the checklist.
