Here at Full Circle Farm, volunteers are vital. We rely on them every day, and without them we wouldn’t even have a farm! We need volunteers for all aspects of the farm, including the garden, fields, events, farmstand, and construction.

Garden

The garden is open for volunteers on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to dark. All ages and experience levels are welcome, and you can stay for any length of time. Parents are required to accompany their children. To get to the garden you can park on Dunford Way near the west gate of the farm, and then walk through the gate and down the path to the garden.

Volunteer Garden Assistants

Help us keep the garden growing! This is perfect for someone who would like to get more involved at Full Circle Farm. We are looking for Volunteer Garden Assistants to help lead volunteers on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Email us if you’re interested!

Farmstand

Our farmstand will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2p to 7p and Sunday 11a to 3p. The farmstand is a major point of contact with the community, as well as a big source of income for the farm. We need volunteers who can commit to at least 2 shifts per month. You will be responsible for answering customer questions, weighing produce, and adding up prices. Ages 16 + only. Chicken Care

Full Circle Farm is now home to a fabulous flock of hens! Chickens are friendly and cute, and they need to be taken care of every day.  Can you help?  Duties will include feeding, watering, light cleaning, and socializing with the best birds around! We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one morning or one evening per week of chicken care.  Chickens need to be let out in the morning and cooped at night (a little after sunset). All ages welcome. Email us if you’re interested!

Groups

Groups of 10 or more people are welcome to schedule their own volunteer day on any day of the week except Sunday. We need at least two weeks notice to accommodate your group. To schedule please contact us.

Tours and Field Trips

We would be happy to set up a tour or field trip for your pre-school or class. For SCUSD schools there is no cost, other schools should contact us for pricing. To register contact Rebecca Jepsen – rebecca@scgardens.org.
